Josiane's Mother, sister and brother and their families

Lucie and her Mother, Naima chez Denis

Luncheon for about 35 was in a charming countryside restaurant in Brax after a lovely baptism in an old Toulouse church where Guillaume and Virginie were married. Lucie had a fine time!

Cannes and Carcasonne

We had a delightful lunch in Cannes with Magali while watching the Film Festival crowd

With Cyril at La Marjolette

Carcasonne, a quick view on the way to Toulouse

Toulouse

Wonderful rural setting with fig, cherry, and quince trees and a little town complete with chateau just down the road...and of course, a fine boulangerie.........

Frejus, France

Frejus is the sight of an old Roman town with many ruins to mark their presence. The arena is the most impressive, but I also enjoyed the "newer" parts from the 15th C.........

Ste Maxime on the Cote D'Azur, France

The two apartments, in the second house from the end, are next to the port and just between the road and the bay. Just across the street and down a block is the old section of Ste Maxime with a wonderful market and several boulangeries. Warm croissants every morning, crisp baguettes at noon, and a devine pastry for dinner....what could be better?

The downstairs apartment has a nice big deck (porch? veranda?) from which you can dangle your toes in the water, go fishing, have a nice swim....... or a fine sit in the sun.

Peg and Claude in the top floor apartment and, along with Jodi, enjoying the marche' across the street.

Switzerland in May

The Alstadt (old town) in Bern is wonderfully preserved. The original Lindt factory and the Nydegg bridge were near my hotel.

Marathoners on the cobblestones and 15thC cathedral in Bern.

Jungfrau in Interlaken.
